The Neptune Systems Energy Bar 4 is a robust power distribution unit designed specifically for advanced reef aquarium control systems. Far more than a standard power strip, this device serves as a critical safety component that manages the electrical load of essential equipment while preventing catastrophic failures caused by saltwater exposure. Its primary function is to safely switch and distribute power to various devices within an aquatic setup, ensuring reliable operation and enhanced protection against electrical hazards.

Constructed from 16-gauge powder-coated aluminum, this unit offers superior durability and fire resistance compared to plastic alternatives used by other manufacturers. The solid metal enclosure provides a bulletproof barrier that significantly reduces the risk of fire if saltwater were to cause an internal short circuit. Each of the independently controlled outlets is equipped with its own switch and is intentionally underrated between 5A and 10A at 120V to provide an extra margin of security for your valuable aquarium equipment.

This power management solution is best suited for serious reef hobbyists invested in automated aquarium systems who prioritize safety and reliability above all else. By choosing a controller accessory built with industrial-grade materials, aquarists can protect their livestock and home from the potentially devastating effects of electrical shorts caused by leaks or splashes. The Energy Bar 4 delivers peace of mind through its rugged construction and precise power control, making it an indispensable upgrade for any high-end saltwater tank.
