Tropic Marin Elimi-NP is a highly concentrated liquid carbon supplement designed to effectively reduce nitrate and phosphate levels in saltwater reef aquariums. It works by providing a targeted food source for beneficial microorganisms, which then consume and biologically remove these excess nutrients from the water column. This natural process helps to control nuisance algae growth and creates a healthier, more stable environment for corals and other invertebrates, leading to improved coloration and vitality.

The 250mL bottle contains a carefully balanced formula suitable for all types of reef aquariums, from nano tanks to large, heavily stocked systems. Unlike direct chemical removers, Elimi-NP promotes the natural nutrient cycle, allowing for a gradual and controlled reduction of nitrates and phosphates without shocking the system. This method of organic carbon dosing is a proven technique for maintaining ultra-low nutrient conditions, which is essential for the vibrant coloration of many SPS corals. The liquid form allows for precise dosing and easy automation with a dosing pump.

This product is ideal for reef aquarists who are battling persistent high levels of nitrate and phosphate or those seeking to achieve an ultra-low nutrient system for enhanced coral health and color. It is particularly beneficial for hobbyists with a heavy bioload from fish who need an efficient way to export nutrients. Both new and experienced aquarists will appreciate its simplicity and effectiveness in maintaining pristine water quality, making it a cornerstone for a successful and beautiful reef tank.
