The Eheim Universal Pump 1262 is a versatile and robust water pump designed for reliable, continuous operation in demanding saltwater aquarium systems. Engineered for both submersible and external (out-of-water) use, this pump serves as a powerful heart for your filtration, capable of moving significant volumes of water as a return pump or for powering various aquarium equipment. Its durable construction is a testament to Eheim's reputation for quality, making it a trusted choice for critical applications where consistent flow is essential.

This pump delivers a powerful output of 898 gallons per hour, driven by a hermetically sealed motor body that guarantees longevity and safe operation. The unit features an inlet connection for standard hoses, a pressure connector for attaching accessories, and comes with a versatile assembly plate to accommodate various installation options. It is important to note that this pump is not self-priming and requires a flooded suction for external applications.

Given its high power spectrum and durable build, the Eheim Universal Pump 1262 is best suited for experienced aquarists with larger systems, as well as professional applications like breeding facilities or public aquarium displays. Its reliability makes it an excellent investment for powering the main return on a sumped aquarium or driving high-flow reactors and chillers. If you need a dependable workhorse pump that can be used in or out of the water, the 1262 is an industry-proven solution.
