The EcoTech Marine Vortech MP40QD Driver Upgrade is a specialized component designed to transform older, non-Quiet Drive Vortech MP40 pumps into the latest Quiet Drive technology. This upgrade allows existing pump owners to significantly reduce operational noise and improve efficiency without the need to purchase an entirely new pump unit. It provides a cost-effective solution for enhancing the performance and tranquility of your reef aquarium.

This driver upgrade specifically targets the noise output of your Vortech MP40, bringing it up to the advanced Quiet Drive standard. It is a direct replacement for the original driver, ensuring seamless integration with your existing wet-side and dry-side components. Please note that the RF Mobius Chip, which enables advanced wireless control and integration with the Mobius platform, is not included with this driver upgrade and must be acquired separately if desired.

This product is ideal for saltwater aquarium enthusiasts who own an older generation EcoTech Marine Vortech MP40 pump and wish to benefit from the reduced noise and improved performance of Quiet Drive technology. It's perfect for those looking to upgrade their current equipment for a quieter, more enjoyable aquarium experience without the expense of a complete pump replacement, offering a practical path to modernizing their reef tank's flow system.
