This product is a genuine EcoTech Marine wet-side assembly specifically designed as a replacement part for the VorTech MP60 QuietDrive powerhead. The wet side is the submersible component of the VorTech pump, responsible for moving water within the aquarium. It contains the propeller and magnet that couples with the dry side motor, ensuring efficient and quiet water circulation without electrical components ever touching the tank water. Replacing only the wet side allows aquarists to restore optimal performance to their existing MP60 QD pump.

The wet side assembly includes all necessary submersible parts, featuring a durable, reef-safe construction designed for long-term use in saltwater environments. It maintains the VorTech's signature wide, gentle flow pattern, crucial for coral health and detritus suspension in large reef tanks. Its magnetic coupling system ensures easy installation and removal for cleaning, while the QuietDrive technology integration means it will continue to operate with the low noise levels expected from the MP60 QD.

This replacement wet-side assembly is ideal for owners of an EcoTech Marine VorTech MP60 QuietDrive powerhead who are experiencing diminished performance, increased noise, or damage to their existing wet side. Rather than purchasing an entirely new pump, this cost-effective solution allows hobbyists to extend the lifespan of their valuable equipment, ensuring their large reef aquarium continues to receive the powerful, consistent water movement it requires for a thriving ecosystem.
