The EcoTech Marine VorTech MP10mQD is a sophisticated circulation pump designed to replicate natural water currents within a saltwater reef aquarium. Its primary function is to create essential water flow, which delivers nutrients to corals, removes waste, and eliminates stagnant zones for a healthier aquatic environment. The pump features a revolutionary magnetically coupled design, where the motor sits outside the aquarium, driving the in-tank propeller wirelessly through the glass for unmatched efficiency and a cleaner aesthetic. Featuring Mobius QuietDrive technology, the MP10mQD offers whisper-quiet operation and intuitive wireless control via the Mobius app on your smart device. This allows for precise customization of flow patterns, including modes like Lagoon, Reef Crest, and Gyre, to perfectly suit the needs of your specific corals and fish. The pump is rated for tanks from 2.5 to 50 gallons, with a maximum flow of 1,500 gallons per hour, and is suitable for glass or acrylic up to 3/8 inch thick. Its small in-tank footprint keeps the focus on your aquascape, not on equipment. This powerhead is the ideal choice for discerning hobbyists with nano or small to medium-sized reef tanks who demand premium performance, advanced controllability, and a minimalist in-tank appearance. Aquarists invested in the EcoTech Marine ecosystem will appreciate its seamless integration with other Mobius-controlled devices. If you are looking to provide your corals with randomized, high-quality flow while minimizing noise and in-tank clutter, the VorTech MP10mQD represents the pinnacle of aquarium circulation technology.
