The AquaReady Hang-On-Back Refugium is a versatile and efficient filtration system designed to enhance the health of saltwater aquariums by promoting the growth of macroalgae within a separate, tank-mounted refugium. This setup helps control nitrates and phosphates while competing with nuisance algae for nutrients, contributing to cleaner water conditions in your main aquarium. The AquaReady Refugium is built for aquariums 20 gallons and larger where the length exceeds 17 inches and glass/rim thickness does not exceed 0.75 inches, ensuring it fits seamlessly into most setups. It includes a robust design with dimensions that optimize space while maintaining efficiency in filtration and algae growth.
