The AM-330 telescopic water submersible sensor wand from Apogee is designed to measure photosynthetically active radiation (PAR) in various environments, including saltwater aquariums and deep corners of growth chambers. This extendable wand adjusts from a compact 11.25 inches when collapsed to an extended length of up to 36.25 inches, offering flexibility for hard-to-reach areas. It is compatible with Apogee's quantum sensors, DLI meters, and pyranometers, providing precise measurements that are crucial for optimizing plant growth parameters such as water requirements, temperature, nutrient levels, CO2 levels, and more.

This is a very good tool to have. You can position the sensor next to a coral and get the exact reading. The telescope locks very well if you know how to do it. You have to twist the sections to lock it. The only bad thing is that it holds water so you have to rinse it very well after use.
this wand works - the telescoping doesn't lock hold water and makes a huge mess defiantly need a third
