The Fiji Cube 29 Gallon Standard Sump Baffle Kit provides a complete solution for building a custom, compartmentalized sump without the high expense of professional fabrication. Designed to fit standard 29-gallon aquariums, this kit includes all necessary components to create efficient partitions that support essential reef equipment such as protein skimmers, refugiums, and return pumps. Installation is straightforward using aquarium-safe silicone sealant, allowing hobbyists to transform a bare tank into a fully functional filtration system with minimal tools or prior experience.

Constructed from durable cast acrylic, this kit features integrated filter sock holders capable of supporting two 4-inch bags along with silencers to reduce water noise and improve flow aesthetics. The design includes adjustable baffle slots that allow for customized compartment sizing to accommodate various protein skimmer heights between 8 and 15 inches. Additional functionality is provided by two media trays suitable for holding bio-foams or chemical filtration media, as well as a fixed height baffle and included 200-micron filter socks to ensure immediate usability upon completion of the silicone curing process.

This product is ideal for saltwater reef enthusiasts seeking an economical yet robust method to upgrade their filtration setup while maintaining full control over water flow and equipment placement. Whether you are building a new system from scratch or retrofitting an existing tank, this baffle kit offers the flexibility needed to optimize your sump layout for maximum biological efficiency. It is particularly well-suited for hobbyists who value customization, noise reduction, and high-quality materials without the premium price tag associated with custom glasswork.
