Boyd Enterprises Chemi-Clean is a liquid treatment designed to effectively and safely remove unsightly red slime stains caused by cyanobacteria in both freshwater and saltwater aquariums. These common red matting algae can quickly smother rocks and corals, creating an unpleasing appearance and potentially dangerous low-oxygen conditions for your tank's inhabitants. Chemi-Clean offers a fast and reliable solution to combat these outbreaks, restoring the natural beauty and health of your aquatic environment.

This powerful formula is completely safe for all fish, corals, invertebrates, and beneficial nitrifying bacteria, ensuring your delicate ecosystem remains unharmed during treatment. The fast-acting liquid works within 48 hours by oxidizing trapped organic sludge and promoting an ideal enzyme balance to eliminate the cyanobacteria. A single 2oz bottle treats up to 720 gallons, making it an economical choice for various tank sizes. For best results, it is crucial to increase aeration, turn off UV sterilizers and ozonizers, and remove chemical filtration like carbon during the treatment period.

Chemi-Clean is the ideal product for any aquarist, from beginner to advanced, who is facing a stubborn red slime algae problem. If you're looking for a proven, reef-safe, and efficient way to clean up your aquarium and prevent the suffocation of your prized corals, this treatment provides a straightforward method to quickly restore water clarity and tank aesthetics without risking the health of your livestock or disrupting your biological filter.
