Bulk Pelletized Carbon is a high-capacity chemical filtration media designed to purify water in saltwater aquariums. This premium activated carbon effectively adsorbs a wide range of dissolved organic compounds, tannins that cause yellow water, chlorine, medications, and other common pollutants. Utilizing this media results in crystal clear water, reduced odors, and a healthier, more stable environment for your fish, corals, and invertebrates by removing harmful toxins from the water column.

The key feature of this product is its immense 40-pound quantity, offering an exceptional value for large systems or frequent media changes. The pelletized form factor ensures optimal water flow when used in a media reactor or filter bag, preventing the clogging and channeling often associated with finer granular activated carbon (GAC). This steam-activated, low-dust carbon possesses a high porosity and vast surface area, maximizing its adsorptive capacity and ensuring a long service life before it requires replacement, making it a highly efficient and cost-effective filtration solution.

This 40-pound sack of pelletized carbon is ideal for serious hobbyists with large aquariums, multiple tank systems, aquaculture facilities, or professional aquarium maintenance companies. The bulk sizing provides a significant cost savings over purchasing smaller quantities, reducing the overall expense of aquarium upkeep. For anyone who manages a high bioload or simply demands the utmost water clarity and purity, this large-format carbon supply offers the convenience and performance needed to maintain pristine water quality consistently and affordably.
