MicroBacter7 Complete Bioculture by Two Little Fishies is a sophisticated blend of non-pathogenic aerobic and anaerobic microbes along with natural enzymes. This powerful formula is specifically designed to rapidly establish essential biological filtration in new marine and freshwater aquarium setups, and to significantly enhance the rate of nitrification, denitrification, and the degradation of organic waste through comprehensive nutrient remineralization in existing systems.
Supplied in a state of suspended animation for maximum longevity, this bioculture is formulated based on extensive data compiled by microbiologists. It offers numerous benefits including the rapid reduction of organic carbon, ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, and phosphate, while also digesting uneaten food, detritus, and other latent organic material for a cleaner substrate. Users will also observe greatly reduced hydrogen sulfide production, increased dissolved oxygen concentration, and improved water clarity.
This product is best suited for aquarists looking to accelerate the cycling process in new aquariums or to maintain optimal water quality and nutrient balance in established tanks. By limiting the availability of pre-existing phosphate, it helps deter undesirable forms of algae and cyanobacteria, while simultaneously converting organic compounds into nutrients that encourage the healthy growth of photosynthetic organisms, ensuring a vibrant and stable reef environment.

This thing will make your water so clear it won't look like there is any water in tank just follow instructions. Turn off the UV and the skimmer. If you over feed, this will be your secret weapon
I have tried several other well know liquid bacteria's over the course of my hobby. I was never all that impressed with any of them until I tried this one. The bacteria inside this product was quick to convert the 1.5 ppm of ammonia to nitrite. After no detectable ammonia or nitrites, I tested the Nitrates. These were only 5 ppm upon completion of the cycle... which took just 13 days. I double checked the Nitrates twice with two different test kits to make sure. So there is definitely nitrate eating bacteria in this product as well. Because of this, I found no need to do a water change before introduction of the first fish.
I was a knucklehead and let my phosphates bottom out. That was an unfortunate event that caused me to lose several Acros and get a nasty case of Dinos. I added UV and started dosing phosphates and MB7 and, after about a week, the Dinos were almost completely gone!
I have used this product in conjunction with other maintenance to bring my tank back from a sorry state and re establish balance in the system. Probably isn't something that is needed but it will speed things along. I recommend live rock to seed a tank, this does not "seed" a tank.
Be sure to watch your nutrient levels carefully during use, it actually can lower nutrients to dangerously low levels
High quality product! I've been dosing for a little over a week and it really helps the parameters settle
After too many bottles from Amazon/other without safety seals or with tampered-with safety seals, I've started only buying stuff like this from BRS. Their products never have issues and even if there was a problem, their customer support will make it right!
Works good to keep parameters in check. Haven't had issues since started using this product.
Dosing daily in my 75 gallon Reef thank,I feed heavy fish and coral so this help to keep my parameters in check, love it it does everything that it’s says highly recommended
Reviews of products like this are very subjective. All I can say is that this product cycled my tank RIGHT AWAY. I will definitely use it again!
Currently using to fight dinos, while they're still present, I've definitely noticed about 60% of my dinos are gone after about two weeks. I'll be keeping a bottle always on hand.
I used this to cycle my aquarium and to beat dinoflagellates.
I started my reef tank, at this point in time about 3 weeks ago, with dry rock and dry sand. I've been dosing Microbacter7 since the beginning and nothing else. It's hard to see sometimes if this stuff really works or not since I've mainly used it in an establish aquarium, but for this go around I had a pretty cool experience! It was 3 small pieces of pellet food that got shoved into a corner between some rocks and didn't move. After about 2-3 day I could see a film... almost like a web of mucous weaving around it and the cove of rock it was within. About another 3-5 days later... the pellets were being being broken down into a slime like substance! It was actually really cool to watch it progress! At this point all of my rocks and sand were still shiny white from being so Freshhh! xD So I figured it couldn't really be anything else other than the bacteria that had been introduced/built up in the tank from the Microbacter7 I was dosing! Would def. reccomend to a buddy in the Hobby!
I used it to kickstart the cycle on my 75g. I tested for the first time on the sixth day and already had 10ppm nitrates. Undeniable proof that it does what it says it does.
Simply the best additive for your tank hands down.
Does exactly what it is used for highly recommend
I bought this for my main 140 reef and also for my 45 red sea seahorse tank that is cycling. After about a month of use, I am getting cyano and bubble algae out breaks in my main tank. I have never had either present in my tank and this is the only change. My tank has been up for three years and I've never had any algae problems at all.
I dose weekly in my heavily stocked tank, and just when I though nothing was able to keep my high nitrate levels in check, I found this product. I will continue using it as long as I own an aquarium.
This works very well.
After every water change i add microbacter 7 to my tank. I'm a heavy feeder and truly believe this product helps break down and remove the gunk .. I also see a difference in the clarity of my tank. Been using this product for well over a year, I will ALWAYS purchase this product.
If you add this product on a weekly basis, it can eliminate cyano room your system by aiding other beneficial organisms to put complete it. My reef runs with higher nutrients than most yet I have no cyano thanks to this product. It's not an overnight fix, but it works if you stick with it. I don't use it anymore but it I get cyano again I will start dosing it again. Many swear by it for this purpose and I've suggested to friends who also has great results.
THIS REALLY SAVED MY POCKET MONEY. nO MORE WATER CHANGES
