The BioPad XL Jumbo is a high-performance mechanical pre-filter designed to capture coarse dirt particles and suspended debris from aquarium water. By placing this pad at the beginning of your filtration path, it effectively traps large waste before it can clog or soil more delicate biological media, ensuring a cleaner and more efficient filtration process overall.

Constructed from fine, residue-free polyester material, this filter floss provides superior mechanical filtration without shedding fibers into your tank. Its robust XL jumbo size allows for extended use between changes while maintaining excellent water flow rates. The versatile design makes it suitable for both saltwater reef aquariums and freshwater setups, offering a reliable solution for keeping water clarity high with minimal maintenance.

This filter pad is best suited for aquarists seeking to reduce the frequency of cleaning their primary filter media and extend the life of their biological filtration system. It is an essential addition for Juwel filter systems and other compatible units where maintaining pristine mechanical pre-filtration is critical for the long-term health of sensitive marine invertebrates and fish.
