This filter floss serves as a mechanical pre-filter designed to capture coarse particles of dirt suspended in the aquarium water. By trapping debris before it reaches deeper into the filtration system, it protects the internal components from rapid soiling and helps maintain overall water clarity.

Constructed from fine, residue-free polyester material, this pad is suitable for use in both saltwater and freshwater aquarium setups. Its design ensures efficient mechanical filtration without introducing unwanted chemicals or fibers into the tank environment, making it a reliable choice for long-term maintenance.

Aquarium hobbyists using Juwel Super Compact S filter systems will benefit most from this media by reducing the frequency of cleaning other filter components. It is an essential addition for those seeking to simplify their maintenance routine while ensuring optimal mechanical filtration performance in their reef or freshwater displays.
