The Juwel BioPad L Standard Filter Floss serves as an essential mechanical pre-filter designed to catch coarse particles of dirt in aquarium water. By trapping debris before it reaches the internal sponge or ceramic media, this pad protects your filter from rapid soiling and extends the maintenance interval for other filtration components.

This high-quality floss consists of fine residue-free polyester material that is safe for use in both saltwater and freshwater aquarium setups. Its dense weave ensures maximum mechanical filtration efficiency without clogging too quickly, allowing water to flow freely while removing suspended particulates effectively.

Reef keepers looking to maintain crystal clear water and reduce overall maintenance time will find this product indispensable for their sump or hang-on-back filter systems. It is particularly ideal for Juwel aquarium owners but works well in any system requiring reliable mechanical pre-filtration to support a healthy marine environment.
