Good light if it lasts more that couple of years. Poor thermal application on the lights that results in diod burning out.
Unfortunately, this product only lasted me 2 years. I’d recommend looking elsewhere.
I really loved my Orphek Atlantik iCon LED Light Fixtures (I have 3) the first 2-years. The app is convenient once setup, but it is not especially intuitive to set up lighting programs. Unfortunately, as was stated in another review, after 2-years my blue channel burned out; this is especially disappointing given the expense. Now I am considering different alternatives.
I really do like my Orphek Atlantik iCon LED Light Fixtures, good coverage and the reef tank they are on is doing great. However after using these light for two years I have had 2 different failures where some of the channels just burn out. it looks light it is heat related due to the burn marks on lenses. I repaired them by ordering an update kit from Orphek. The repair process is not trivial but doable. I am just one sample others experience might be different. I felt like with this big of an expense others should know.
Lights have the ability of giving your corals the pop under white like light without the glowing black light effect thats somewhat popular these days.
Hands down best aquarium lights out there on market!!! Fantastic colors, phenomenal coverage!!
I RUN 3 OF THESE ON MY DD300 AND ABSOLUTELY LOVE THEM ! THE CONTROLABILITY IS AMAZING AND VERY EASY TO GET UP AND RUNNING . COMES PRE PROGRAMMED WITH A SCHEDULE FOR SPS HEAVY DUTY AND WELL BUILT TO LAST , IF YOUR LOOKING FOR A FULL COVERAGE LIGHT THIS IS THE ONE !
