The Aquatic Life DX18 Hybrid T5HO Dimmable Fixture, 24-inch, provides a sophisticated platform for combining T5HO fluorescent lighting with popular LED fixtures over a saltwater reef aquarium. This system allows hobbyists to create ideal lighting conditions for corals and plants by merging the high intensity and shimmering effect of LEDs with the broad, diffused light coverage of T5HO lamps, effectively eliminating the shadows often seen with LED-only setups and promoting robust growth.

Key features of this hybrid fixture include its dimmable T5HO lighting, which can be controlled via a 0-10 Volt input, enabling seamless integration with popular aquarium controllers like APEX. The design accommodates a wide range of popular LED fixtures, such as AquaIllumination Hydra 26 & 52, EcoTech Radion XR15w & XR30w, and Kessil A360X, A360WE, and AP700. The fixture comes pre-assembled with all necessary suspension cables and LED mounting brackets, simplifying the setup process, though T5HO lamps are not included.

This product is best suited for experienced reef hobbyists and those looking to upgrade or optimize their aquarium lighting system for superior coral health and coloration. It is an ideal choice for anyone seeking the combined benefits of powerful, point-source LED intensity and the even, comprehensive light distribution of T5HO fluorescents. The hybrid approach offers a customizable, high-performance lighting solution for demanding reef environments, ensuring both aesthetic appeal and biological vitality.
