The Aquatic Life DX18 24-inch T5HO Dimmable 4-Lamp Hybrid Black fixture is an advanced lighting solution designed for saltwater reef aquariums. This innovative system allows hobbyists to integrate their preferred high-intensity LED fixtures with the benefits of diffused T5HO fluorescent lighting. It aims to provide a comprehensive and balanced light spectrum that promotes optimal coral and plant growth while eliminating the harsh shadows often associated with point-source LED illumination alone.

This 24-inch hybrid fixture accommodates four T5HO lamps and is specifically engineered to pair with popular LED fixtures such as AquaIllumination Hydra 26 & 52, EcoTech Radion XR15w & XR30w, and Kessil A360X, A360WE, and AP700. It features a 0-10 Volt input, enabling seamless integration with external controllers like APEX for precise adjustment of T5HO light intensity. The unit comes pre-assembled with suspension cables and adjustable LED mounting brackets that can be positioned and locked as needed, offering flexibility in setup.

This product is ideally suited for experienced reef aquarists and coral enthusiasts who recognize the synergistic benefits of combining different light technologies. It caters to those seeking to achieve superior coral coloration, growth, and overall reef health by leveraging both the intensity of LEDs and the broad, even coverage of T5HOs. The DX18 Hybrid is perfect for hobbyists looking to upgrade their existing LED setup or build a new high-performance reef system with complete control over their lighting environment.
