It took about 2 1/2 weeks for this product to break in. That consisted of it constantly bubbling over some of the bubbles, made it under the aquarium to the front of the stand and appeared as a puddle. You can imagine the anxiety that would cause. After it started working with many adjustments, it was time to clean the cup after filling up a skim ate. That’s when you discover you can’t even clean it with a toothbrush because it’s so narrow. The best part is it has stopped working after a month and a half no bubbles coming out pump still running. If you’re looking for finicky anxiety producing equipment this is for you.
