The AquaFX Piggyback RO Membrane Kit is an essential upgrade designed to significantly boost the pure water production and overall efficiency of your existing reverse osmosis system. This kit allows you to add an additional 100 gallons per day (GPD) to your system's output, making it ideal for reef aquarists who require a higher volume of purified water for their tanks. It effectively helps reduce the waste water ratio, providing a more sustainable and cost-effective solution for producing high-quality water.

This comprehensive kit includes an AquaFX Thin Film Composite (TFC) RO Membrane and its corresponding housing, offering versatile installation options to suit your specific needs. You can configure the kit "In Series" to minimize wastewater by feeding the new membrane with the waste water from your primary RO membrane, requiring a minimum feed pressure of 65 psi. Alternatively, the "In Parallel" setup allows both membranes to be fed simultaneously, directly increasing your system's total GPD output. Systems can be expanded to include up to three RO membranes, achieving a maximum total output of 300 GPD.

This product is perfectly suited for saltwater aquarium hobbyists looking to enhance their current RO/DI setup without investing in an entirely new system. It's an excellent choice for those with larger reef tanks, multiple aquariums, or anyone frequently performing water changes and top-offs who needs a reliable and efficient source of pure water. The AquaFX Piggyback RO Membrane Kit provides a practical and scalable solution for increasing pure water production while simultaneously improving water conservation.
