The AquaFX MixBed DI Resin CC Refill is a premium, color-indicating deionization resin specifically formulated to produce ultra-pure, 18 Mega Ohm resistivity water for your saltwater or reef aquarium. Designed to remove all remaining total dissolved solids (TDS) after reverse osmosis, this 1 cubic foot refill ensures your water achieves a crucial zero ppm, preventing the introduction of harmful contaminants into your sensitive aquatic environment. It is the ideal solution for replacing exhausted resin in your RO/DI system when your TDS meter indicates impurities.

Crafted as virgin resin, not recycled, this product guarantees purity without introducing heavy metals like copper, a common issue with recycled alternatives. It is nuclear grade and features a mix-bed of both cation and anion deionization resins for comprehensive purification. This American-made resin is color-indicating, transitioning from a dark blue to an orange/rust red as it depletes, providing a clear visual cue for replacement. Trusted by major events like MACNA and utilized by universities and laboratories globally, its quality is unsurpassed.

This DI resin is perfect for dedicated reef and saltwater aquarium hobbyists who demand the highest water quality to maintain the health and vibrancy of their corals and fish. While it is the standard for AquaFX systems, its compatibility extends to any RO/DI system equipped with a refillable filter shell, including popular brands such as BRS, Spectrapure, Vertex, and IceCap. Choosing AquaFX ensures you are providing your aquarium with the cleanest possible water, fostering a thriving and stable ecosystem.
