The AquaFX Commercial Float Switch 120V offers robust and reliable automatic pump control, specifically engineered for demanding applications such as commercial Reverse Osmosis (RO) systems. This heavy-duty float switch is designed to directly manage pumps up to 1/2 HP at 120 VAC, making it ideal for various water and sewage applications. Its unique design ensures consistent performance even in turbulent conditions, as it is not sensitive to rotation or water movement.

Key features include heavy-duty electrical contacts and a highly adjustable pumping range, spanning from 7 to 36 inches (18 to 91 cm), allowing for precise water level management. The float itself is constructed from high-impact, corrosion-resistant PVC, measuring 3.05 inches in diameter and 3.56 inches long, suitable for use in water up to 140°F (60°C). Electrically, it operates at 120 VAC, 50/60 Hz, single phase, supporting a maximum pump running current of 13 amps, and is recommended for pumps 1/2 HP or less. A standard mounting clamp is included for easy installation.

This commercial-grade float switch is an excellent choice for serious reef aquarists and commercial operators who require a durable and dependable solution for their RO/DI systems or other water transfer needs. Its ability to withstand harsh environments and directly control significant pump loads provides peace of mind, ensuring consistent water levels. It is crucial to note that this switch is designed for Horsepower (HP) rated loads and must be used with pumps that provide integral thermal overload protection; it is not suitable for control applications switching less than 1 Amp.
