AquaFX Bio Pellets 500ml are a premium, 100% biodegradable filter media, expertly formulated by Dr. Tim's Aquatics. These PHA-based pearls are designed to act as a crucial carbon source, fostering the growth of beneficial bacteria within your aquarium. This natural biological process effectively targets and removes unwanted nitrate and phosphate from your water column, leading to a cleaner and healthier aquatic environment.

Engineered for use in all saltwater and reef aquariums, these bio-polymers are celebrated as the ultimate solution for nutrient reduction and are completely safe for all fish and corals. Made in the USA, they offer an easier and more consistent alternative to traditional liquid carbon dosing. For optimal performance, the 500ml container is designed to treat up to 166 gallons at the initial recommended dosage of 3ml per gallon, with replenishment typically needed every 6-9 months.

Ideal for reef enthusiasts seeking a natural and highly effective method for nutrient control, AquaFX Bio Pellets simplify the maintenance of pristine water quality. They are best utilized in a fluidized reactor or similar device to ensure constant motion and proper water flow, maximizing their efficiency. For best results and comprehensive nutrient export, the use of a good protein skimmer is strongly recommended alongside this innovative filter media.
