The AquaFX Barracuda Platinum RO/DI System is a high-performance water purifier designed to produce ultra-pure, 0 TDS water for saltwater reef aquariums. This system is an enhanced version of the best-selling Barracuda, engineered to remove harmful impurities, phosphates, and disinfectants like chlorine and chloramine from your source water. It provides laboratory-grade water, which is essential for creating stable and pristine conditions for your corals and fish, whether used for initial tank fills, water changes, or daily top-offs.

This 100 GPD unit is hand-built in the USA and features a robust 4-stage filtration process, beginning with a premium 1-micron sediment filter. The Platinum model elevates performance with several key upgrades, including an integrated booster pump with a high-pressure switch, ideal for homes with low water pressure. It also includes a dual-TDS meter with a backlit display for easy monitoring, a glycerin-filled pressure gauge, a high-pressure auto shut-off kit, and a manual flush valve, all mounted on a heavy-gauge aluminum bracket with quick-disconnect fittings.

This system is the perfect choice for dedicated reef enthusiasts, from the weekend hobbyist to professional aquarium service companies, who demand the highest quality water for their aquariums. The included booster pump makes it particularly valuable for aquarists with source water pressure below optimal levels, ensuring consistent output and efficiency. If you are serious about eliminating contaminants and maintaining precise water chemistry, the Barracuda Platinum provides the reliability and advanced features needed for a thriving reef ecosystem.
