The AquaFX Add-On Sediment Filter Kit 20x2 is a specialized pre-filtration system designed to enhance the performance and longevity of your existing Reverse Osmosis (RO) unit. This kit effectively removes larger sediment particles from your water source before they reach your primary RO membrane or finer pre-filters. It acts as a crucial first line of defense, preventing premature clogging and wear on more delicate filtration stages.

This add-on kit features a durable clear canister with a mounting bracket for easy installation and monitoring. It includes a high-quality 20-micron washable sediment filter, offering an environmentally friendly and cost-effective solution for managing heavy sediment loads. The kit also comes complete with 5 feet of tubing, providing flexibility for integration into various RO/DI setups. The washable filter can be reused, extending its lifespan and reducing maintenance frequency.

This product is ideal for saltwater aquarium hobbyists whose tap water supply contains significant amounts of sediment, often indicated by frequent clogging of their RO/DI unit's 1-micron pre-filter. By installing this 20-micron washable sediment filter, users can dramatically extend the life of their finer filters and RO membrane, saving both time and money on replacements. It's an essential upgrade for anyone seeking to optimize their water purification process and ensure consistent, high-quality water for their reef tank.
