The AquaFX 5-Stage Drinking Water System is a comprehensive reverse osmosis unit designed to deliver exceptionally pure water for both drinking and aquarium use. This system effectively removes or reduces a wide array of contaminants commonly found in tap water, including sediment, dissolved solids, pesticides, herbicides, and chlorine. It is specifically engineered with dual carbon blocks to efficiently tackle chloramine, a persistent disinfectant used in many municipal water supplies that is harmful to aquatic life.

This complete system features a multi-stage purification process for maximum effectiveness. It begins with a 1-micron sediment pre-filter, followed by two solid carbon block cartridges for thorough chloramine and chlorine removal. The core of the unit is a high-rejection 100 GPD reverse osmosis membrane that strips away dissolved solids. Finally, a coconut shell carbon post-filter polishes the water, improving taste and removing any residual odors. The package includes all necessary components for installation, such as a bladder tank, faucet, filter wrench, and connection fittings.

This RO system is an excellent choice for any homeowner seeking superior drinking water quality and for saltwater aquarium hobbyists who require pristine water for mixing salt. It is particularly crucial for reef keepers in areas with chloramine-treated water, ensuring a safe and stable foundation for their aquatic environment. The all-in-one kit provides a reliable and convenient solution for producing high-purity water directly from your tap, making it ideal for drinking, cooking, and all aquarium needs.
