Description
The Apex Trident is an automated testing system designed to regularly measure alkalinity, calcium, and magnesium levels in saltwater aquariums. It communicates this data directly to your Apex controller, enabling real-time alerts and adjustments to your dosing regimen without manual intervention. This device eliminates the need for traditional test kits by providing consistent, accurate readings that help maintain a stable reef environment.
Users can expect up to twenty-four alkalinity tests per day with a precision of plus or minus point zero five dKh, alongside twelve daily tests for both calcium and magnesium with fifteen ppm accuracy. Each parameter test consumes approximately seven point nine milliliters of sample water and takes roughly seven minutes to complete. The included reagents last for about one month based on standard testing frequencies, though this can vary depending on usage settings.
This system is ideal for dedicated reef keepers who want to achieve perfect stability in their tanks with minimal daily effort. When paired with the DOS dosing system, the Trident creates a fully automated loop that adjusts supplement delivery based on actual water chemistry data. Say goodbye to syringes, vials, color endpoints, and expiration dates while ensuring your corals thrive in optimal conditions anywhere in the world.
