The Neptune Systems Apex DOS QD Quiet Drive is a highly efficient programmable dosing system designed to seamlessly integrate with Neptune Systems Apex Controllers. It allows aquarists to automate the addition of supplements and additives into their reef aquariums with precise control over volumes and schedules via the easy-to-use Fusion cloud interface. This dual pump head unit minimizes manual work while ensuring consistent water chemistry maintenance.

Incorporating EcoTech QuietDrive technology, this model significantly reduces operational noise by up to 400 percent at high speeds and 200 percent at slow speeds compared to previous versions. It features new continuous duty modes that allow the pump heads to run uninterrupted at speeds up to twenty-five milliliters per minute for added flexibility during automatic water changes or additive dosing. The system retains reliable hardware with large diameter tubing and includes priming buttons for simple maintenance and easy tube replacement.

This dosing system is best suited for advanced reef hobbyists seeking a silent and reliable solution to stabilize their aquarium parameters without constant intervention. It is an ideal upgrade for existing Apex users who prioritize quiet operation during continuous duty cycles while maintaining the robust performance they expect from Neptune Systems equipment. The combination of reduced noise and enhanced flexibility makes it a practical choice for long-term aquarium health and automation.
