Everything I purchase from Bulk Reef Supply was great. Plus the service was great too. Now I am starting over from a 55 gallon to a 3-gallon setup due to living conditions changed and not really sure how the land Loar will accept a tank. But I was to work back up to a 55 gallon talk with fish and coral.
I bought 2 bags to use in my aquascape in a Waterbox AIO 25 Peninsula. The various sizes and shapes in the bags were the perfect size and let me create just what I envisioned.
too many plain shelf pieces that I have no use for, wont buy this again
These are great for aquascaping nano reef tanks, especially if you are going for the negative-space or habitat-rich look. There's a good mix of interesting fragments, pieces with flat bases, and some shelf rock mixed in there too. In the bag I got, most pieces were in the 1-3inch range. Get some superglue, spray accelerator, mortar and a few bags of this and you can come up with some really unique and stunning arrangements for small tanks. Wish I had bought more of this and less of the standard marco rock; could have spent less time chiseling and more time 'scaping...
I picked this up for fragging but ended up using a bunch of pieces in my new nano tank. Several pieces have flat bottoms and can be used as a base rock in a pinch.
