ARC Reef Purple Helix is a unique 2-in-1 formula designed to rapidly transform bare rock into beautiful, coralline-encrusted live rock in your saltwater aquarium. Unlike simple mineral supplements, this product contains a potent blend of live coralline algae spores and active nitrifying bacteria. This combination works to quickly seed surfaces with vibrant purple algae while simultaneously kick-starting the tank's biological filtration, creating a mature and stable ecosystem faster than any other method.

Each 8oz bottle is packed with seven distinct species of live coralline algae, ensuring a rich diversity of colors and growth patterns throughout your reef. The highly epiphytic algae strains are specifically chosen for their ability to outcompete nuisance algae and diatoms. In addition to seeding algae, the fresh, multi-strain nitrifying bacteria bottled on the day of shipping actively improve water quality by controlling harmful ammonia and nitrite levels, making it a powerful tool for establishing a new aquarium's biological filter.

This product is perfect for any saltwater hobbyist looking to accelerate the maturation of a new aquarium or introduce vibrant color and biodiversity to existing rockwork. It's especially beneficial for those setting up a new tank, as it helps to quickly establish the biological foundation necessary for a healthy reef. For aquarists battling nuisance algae, Purple Helix provides a natural and effective solution by promoting beneficial coralline growth that covers rock surfaces and prevents unwanted outbreaks.
