The 4 x 8" 200 micron polyester filter sock is an essential tool for maintaining the cleanliness and clarity of your saltwater aquarium. Designed to be a primary line of defense against particulate matter, these socks effectively capture dust, uneaten food, detritus, organic waste, and other small particles before they can enter the sump or damage expensive pump motors. Pre-washing is recommended prior to use to ensure optimal performance right from the start.

These filter socks are made of high-quality polyester material that allows for efficient trapping of fine debris without restricting water flow excessively. Each sock measures approximately 4.12" x 8", and comes with a sturdy plastic ring for easy installation in your filtration system. The 200 micron rating ensures that even the finest particles are captured, keeping your aquarium water pristine.

This product is ideal for both novice and experienced saltwater aquarium hobbyists looking to enhance their tank's maintenance routine. Regular rotation of these filter socks can significantly reduce ammonia and nitrate levels by minimizing organic waste buildup in the system. By using these socks, you not only extend the lifespan of your equipment but also ensure a healthier environment for your marine life.
