This innovative accessory is designed to fit directly into standard two point seven five inch filter sock holders to silence the splashing and gurgling noises common in sump filtration systems. It transforms your mechanical filtration area by diffusing water flow effectively while providing a versatile platform for trapping detritus without the need for traditional cloth socks.

The unit features unique internal geometry that breaks up falling water streams to eliminate loud air gulping and burps associated with high-flow sumps. Constructed from durable reef safe materials, this silencer allows you to use disposable filter floss instead of high-maintenance cloth socks for easier waste removal. When the media becomes dirty you can simply toss it out and replace it rather than washing smelly laundry items in your home machine.

This product is best suited for reef hobbyists seeking a quieter operation and simplified maintenance routine within their aquarium sumps. It offers an ideal solution for those tired of noisy filter socks who want to maintain effective mechanical filtration with less effort and reduced cleanup time during water changes.
