The Aqua Illumination Prime 16HD is a compact and powerful LED lighting fixture designed specifically to promote lush growth and vibrant colors in freshwater planted aquariums. This smart light provides full-spectrum output that is completely customizable through the intuitive myAI app, available for any iOS or Android device. Its built-in Wi-Fi allows for direct control without the need for any additional controllers, making setup and daily adjustments incredibly simple and streamlined for any aquarist.

Engineered for performance, the Prime 16HD utilizes a dedicated array of LEDs including cool white, warm white, photo red, green, and blue to create the ideal spectrum for photosynthesis. These diodes are focused through custom-designed 80-degree TIR lenses that ensure over 90% optical efficiency, delivering a powerful, evenly spread light field with excellent color blending. The unit consumes a maximum of 55 watts and is also compatible with the Neptune Systems Apex controller via MXM for users seeking a fully integrated smart aquarium ecosystem.

This LED module is perfect for hobbyists with nano or medium-sized planted tanks who demand precise control over their lighting. It is especially well-suited for aquascapers and enthusiasts who want to fine-tune the spectrum and intensity throughout the day to maximize plant health and showcase the natural beauty of their fish and invertebrates. The simple master/slave programming also makes it an excellent, scalable choice for larger aquariums that require multiple fixtures.
